Oy vey, double trouble

Double Gevurah and me.

I must face it,

my chores lack discipline.

Schedules ignored,

I'd rather be writing

Psalms and adding art.

I'd rather be immersed

in the joyous, serene presence

of G*D.

Auto license frame announces

I'd rather be...

writing, arting, kayaking

drumming, swimming, gardening.

I'll shut down the computer,

begin my taxes, due this week,

after I put away Pesach gear,

cute jumping frogs,

plagues from the Seder table,

that animate faces.

My psalms for Omer,

filled with joy and passion,

will wait.

Schedule time for paper work.
